Frequently Asked Questions

Most orders should be placed and deposits paid at least one week in advance to make your vision come to life.

Large orders of over $100 should be placed and deposits paid at least 4 weeks in advance.

Special events or workshops should be scheduled at least 6 weeks in advance.

Most orders require a 20% deposit so I can secure ingredients.

Large orders of over $100 and workshops require a 50% deposit.

I prefer payments via Venmo, but I also accept check and cash.

Please note: Check and cash deposits will need to be secured before I begin working on your order.

I don’t deliver, and as of now don’t offer shipping since tarts require refrigeration.

I offer local pickup both in Worthington (43085) and in Dayton (45424).

Order minimum is either one large 9″ tart or six 4″ tartlets.

Tartlet orders must be in increments of six for each new flavor.

Samples are a great way to try a few flavors and are available for purchase. Please reach out for more details.

I’ve worked with Cedar Ridge Trails to host no-bake tart workshops. I would be open to coordinating a similar event at your venue on a case-by-case basis. These workshops are time-intensive and would require a 6 week notice and 50% deposit if approved.

According to the Ohio Department of Agriculture, a licensed home bakery is one that operates out of the applicant’s home kitchen that passes an inspection from the ODA and is subject to local food safety laws.

Tartes du Soleil has been licensed since 2023.

Unfortunately, no. While most of the tarts I make do not contain nut-based products, some do, like pistachio. I try to be conscious of cross-contamination, and all dishes and molds are dishwashed. Please discuss any allergy concerns when placing your order.

I can accommodate some diets on a case-by-case basis. However, tarts are not vegan or dairy-free since they rely heavily on butter, eggs, and milk that I don’t provide substitutes for.
