Tart Menu & Pricing

Delicious French-inspired tarts crafted with premium ingredients and customizable to your taste.

What is a tart?

A tart is a delightful type of pastry with a buttery, shortbread-like crust filled with a variety of fillings, like custards and fruits.

I make every part of the tarts myself, including the crust, fillings, and most garnishes (except some candies). I avoid using artificial colors and gelatins, and I compost any food waste.

Fillings

Smooth and creamy, these fillings have a lot to offer. Whether you’re in the mood for something fruity and tangy or milky and rich, there are endless flavor options to consider.

Curds

Fruit curd is a tangy, velvety spread made from fresh fruit juice, sugar, eggs, and butter with a melt-in-your-mouth texture. It can use almost any fruit to create flavors like:

  • Classic citrus: lemon, lime, orange, pomegranate
  • Tropical: passion fruit, mango, pineapple, tamarind, guava, yuzu

Seasonality

I prefer to offer fruit that’s locally available during its peak season since I try to source from local farms and farmers’ markets whenever possible. Ask about availability and we can work to find a perfect seasonal fruit (or frozen alternative) for your tart!

  • Berry: raspberry, blueberry, blackberry, strawberry, sour cherry, cranberry
  • Seasonal fruits: rhubarb, peach, apple

Custards

Custard is a creamy, smooth mixture made from milk, eggs, and sugar that has a silky, rich consistency. It provides a canvas for lots of flavors, including:

  • Classic custards: vanilla, chocolate, cream cheese, and any variety like chocolate mint, german chocolate, vanilla olive oil
  • Specialty custards: pistachio cream, cookie butter, coconut, ube, pumpkin, churro
  • Coffee & tea inspired: coffee, chai, matcha, earl grey, London fog, Thai tea

Garnishes

Besides looking stunning, edible garnishes add a unique flair to complement the rich fillings.

  • Candied fruits, like lemons, oranges, or sugared berries
  • Whipped, piped vanilla ganache
  • Edible flowers, like rose petals or pansies
  • Crystallized herb leaves, like mint
  • Candies
  • Crushed nuts

Fresh Fruit

Want that classic “fruit pizza” look? A fresh fruit tart is a colorful, crowd-pleasing option! These tarts can be made with any base filling—though vanilla or cream cheese custards are most popular—and are topped with a vibrant mix of fruits like strawberries, kiwis, and blueberries, finished with a glossy glaze.

Due to the delicate nature of fresh fruit, these tarts are best enjoyed the same day they’re served. If you’re interested, just reach out to check availability!

Custom Tarts for Any Occasion

I love to experiment, so bring me your unique ideas! Feel free to combine flavors (two curds, two custards, a curd and custard swirl), add in herbal infusions like lavender or basil, or try an alcohol-inspired treat without the rum or bourbon!

Some examples to get you brainstorming:

  • raspberry + lime curds
  • coffee + chai custards (dirty chai)
  • strawberry curd + chocolate custard
  • pistachio rose custard (pistachio scented with rosewater)
  • lemon-basil curd
  • minty lime curd with rum extract (mojito)
